The Role
We're looking for a passionate Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our small, impact-driven team. You'll own features from concept to deployment, working directly with the founders and product lead to build a platform that genuinely helps people and the planet.
Location: Remote (preference for EU/UK time zones)
Type: Full-time / Contract (with potential for equity)

What You'll Do
- Build & scale the core matching algorithm that combines AI-powered compatibility scores with user preferences
- Develop new features across the entire stack—from profile creation and swiping mechanics to real-time chat and event discovery
- Integrate AI services (Google Gemini) to deliver personalized recommendations for sustainable living
- Optimize performance for both web and mobile (PWA) experiences
- Implement robust authentication and data security (Next Auth, Firebase Security Rules)
- Collaborate on product roadmap and technical decisions in a flat, transparent culture
- Write clean, tested, and documented code with a focus on maintainability
